just 200 meters from our bungalow rentals : welcome to the Longueteau Distillery !

Dating back to 1895, it is the oldest distillery in Guadeloupe still in operation.

Go there in the morning when the cane is harvested (from January to July), an ideal time
to visit the distillery and discover the process of making the agricultural rum it produces.

The walk takes you to the heart of the machineries, impressive mechanisms straight out of another century.
In addition to visiting the “entrails” of the distillery, and after a walk through the cane fields, the Field of Marquisat
of Sainte-Marie will reveal its aging cellars and its shop, an opportunity to taste their different rums …

You will understand, this visit is a real journey in time, which will surely surprise you !
