The Matouba water jump in Saint-Claude

in the river at the Matouba water jump, close to Saint-Claude.
A surprising place lost in the middle of vegetation which will offer you a true moment of relaxation.
The water jump is situated at the exit of the village of St Claude (signposted).
It only takes 10 minutes through a banana field and an easy but steep
forestpath to reach the Saint-Louis River which fills the pond.
As one reaches the riverside, one discovers a bit further down a pond with cristal
clear water into which drops a 10 meters high (33 ft.) charming little waterfall.
It is possible to combine a swim in the pond with other activities in
Saint-Claude such as visiting the Bonifierie or a high ropes course /tyroleans at Mangofil.
